This item isn’t black at all. I ordered it in January and immediately noticed something was off. The prongs that connect it to the face of the Blackberry are longer than the standard ring has. This makes the ring wobble when you are using it.
I also noticed a few days ago that the black ring is really a silver ring, spray painted black. Now I have little black paint flecks inside my blackberry, which is not good at all.
How hard would it be to make an actual molded piece of BLACK plastic as opposed to making a silver one and taking the time to spray paint it black?

The trackball itself was fine, but the retaining ring did NOT fit my Blackberry Pearl.
