Sony Ericsson has revealed that its new Android 2.3 Gingerbread-powered Xperia arc smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor that is paired with an Adreno 205 graphics chip. While some spotted the device running Android 2.4 during the Consumer Electronics Show last week, Sony Ericsson has said that this was just a “misconfiguration” error. During our own hands-on with the phone, we noticed that it said Android 2.3.
